The Five-step High Blood Pressure Cure
Joe presents a five-step regimen he says will fix high blood pressure — cranberry juice, blueberries, hibiscus tea, cayenne in tomato juice, and water — on top of caffeine elimination and his OMAD plan. It is the channel's earliest titled cure.

Detailed notes
A closer look at the ideas, examples, and reasoning Joe presents in this recording.
The channel's earliest condition protocol, framed as a cure
This 2016 video is the strongest early example of Joe's cure language: he presents a five-step regimen he says will "fix your high blood pressure fast," whether the condition is hereditary or driven by obesity. He speaks from his own history — morbidly obese with chronic high blood pressure, still managing systolic hypertension — and says the real lever for an obese viewer is significant weight loss, ideally on his one-meal-a-day plan. All of the claims below are Joe's, offered without clinical citation beyond his general references to studies.
The preliminaries
Before the five steps, Joe asks viewers to all but eliminate caffeine — switching to decaf coffee, dropping caffeinated sodas, and especially abandoning energy drinks, whose herbs such as panax ginseng he says constrict blood vessels beyond the caffeine itself. He also warns against weight-loss supplements containing ma huang, which he claims race the heart, constrict vessels, and do not help with weight anyway. Notably, he tells viewers on blood-pressure medication to "be prepared to cut back" because the protocol is effective enough that pressure could go too low — a statement he makes without directing viewers to a physician.
The five steps
First, a 12-to-16-ounce glass of organic cranberry juice daily or every other day for two months, taken with the meal because it has calories. It is the one place Joe endorses organic; he calls cranberry the single best juice — low in sugar, blood-vessel-relaxing, and helpful for bladder and urinary tract infections — and credits it with a big reduction in his own pressure when he weighed 360 pounds.
Second, a cup of blueberries at the daily meal, daily or every other day for the same two months. "If you have only one fruit in your life, let it be blueberries," he says, claiming study-backed blood-pressure reduction plus benefits for skin and lungs, with sugars he says are usable even by diabetics.
Third — the step Joe calls the strongest — hibiscus tea, or nettle tea as runner-up, daily after the meal. Both are calorie-free diuretics in his telling, appropriate for the fasting hours, and he claims they begin lowering pressure within a day or two.
Fourth, a teaspoon (or as little as a quarter-teaspoon) of cayenne pepper stirred into a small can of tomato juice or V8, three days a week with the meal. Joe says cayenne "drastically lowers" high blood pressure and tells viewers not to worry about the tomato juice's sodium.
Fifth, plenty of water through the day, flavored with lemon or calorie-free flavoring if needed — and, above it all, getting on the one-meal-a-day plan to "stop being a slave to food."
The recording is a marker of the channel's earliest register, where a named condition receives a titled cure rather than the more hedged management language of later years.
